Getting their start in 1923, Red Kap started off selling bib overalls under a sign that read "Harlin Bros & Williams." Even then, comfort, durability, and great service were valued every bit as much as they are today. Naturally, business grew quickly.
1927 brought along the bright red jockey cap logo. And in 1939, the official name change to "Red Kap" was finalized. However, World War II threw the country into turmoil. Red Kap did their part to make gas mask carriers, combat fatigues, and field jackets. All made to the same high standard and quality America had come to expect from Red Kap.
Business had remained steady, and by the 1960s, Red Kap had become a major player in the workwear industry. Today, the brand is stronger than ever, proving that comfort, durability, and "done right" simply never go out of style.
